Since its establishment in 1968, APCO, the Italian Professional Association of Management Consultants has actively been connecting, representing and accrediting management consultants, including free-lancers, employees and partners of consultancy firms.

APCO is the Italian member of ICMCI (International Council of Management Consulting Institutes); a global body that encompasses various national management consulting institutes from around the world, and administer, in accordance with world class standards, the international "CMC" certification Certified Management Consultant earned by individual professional management consultants.

Our Mission
Our mission is to insure the professional growth of our associates and to represent the Management Consults’ community within Italy and abroad; providing high standard certification for professional development.

To fulfill our mission, we offer the following opportunities to all associates:
- Being part of an international professional community
- Participation in professional trainings and seminars
- The possibility of acquiring the CMC (Certified Management Consultant) competency framework certification; recognized in over 44 countries world-wide.
- Free subscription to the Italian edition of the Harvard Business Review

Our Objectives
- To qualify and certify management consultants to international standards and ethical codes.
- To promote various initiative that will aid the professional development of our associates.
- To establish and promote Management Consultancy as a professional discipline.
- To propose and pursue an ethical code of professional conduct.
- To promote dialogues and cooperation with other professional associations both in Italy and abroad.

We also carry out the following activities
- Collaborating with Public Institutions and Standardisation Bodies
- Publication of the monthly magazine Meta, within Harvard Business Review Italia
- Proactive management of our professional groups on social networks
- Ensure our presence in both the regional and national press through articles, interviews and advertising.

Territorial Delegations
APCO operation through Regional Delegations across Italy and beyond in order to serve the specific objectives of the reference areas, as well as being continuously present within the regions institutions and associations.
